This well respected Macclesfield PR agency is looking to appoint a new Tech B2B PR Junior Account Manager or Account Manager to work on their variety of B2B PR clients across PR, digital and integrated marketing.
Clients cover tech, education, energy/utilities, facilities management, finance, food and agriculture, hospitality, HR, life sciences, manufacturing, healthcare professional services, retail and the built environment.
Candidates don’t need to have a tech PR background but obviously an interest in the sector would be beneficial.…
Client responsibilities:
- Take ownership of each client account and become the first port of call for all client enquiries
- Deliver PR, digital and integrated marketing campaigns over and above client expectations
- Ensure that clients are regularly provided with new proactive ideas – ideally one per month
- Pitch and generate high levels of targeted on-message coverage in client’s tier one media
- Spot new opportunities for coverage and/or digital awareness
- Create and manage the team to deliver digital campaigns that achieve client objectives
- Responsible for identifying content opportunities, as well as drafting and subbing others work. Ensuring that content is adapted to fit whatever style required from blogs and by-lines to white papers and research reports
- Understand and employ PR, digital and content marketing tools to deliver campaigns that go beyond what’s expected
- Responsible for timely and effectively delivery of reporting and measurement – from weekly update calls to six month reviews
- Ability to deliver critical reporting and measurement across all elements of the programme
Account manager skills:
- A passion and flair for creating stories and media coverage
- A team player but with the ability to self-motivate
- Strong B2B background with an understanding of vertical sectors
- Good understanding, knowledge and relationships with regional and national press
