My client is a prestigious Manchester PR agency that is looking for an experienced Consumer PR Account Executive or Senior Account Executive for their Manchester office.


This role will focus on consumer PR retail, travel, personal finance and FMCG sectors. You will work with a team of people from diverse backgrounds, supported by a dedicated manager.

Role responsibilities

  • Assisting with the delivery of client programmes and integrated campaigns
  • Researching and producing content – social media content, features, commentary, and briefing documents
  • Building client and media relationships
  • Developing knowledge and understanding of clients’ businesses, sectors, and the media
  • Programme administration and team support
  • Monitoring media and digital channels for client stories
  • Supporting new business pitches and participating in creative sessions​

Role requirements

  • Previous experience at account executive or similar level
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to articulate a point of view with confidence and an eye for what makes a great story
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
  • An interest in current affairs, the news and media
  • Excellent communication
  • A good work ethic, flexibility and enthusiasm to delivery work and results of a consistently high standard
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
